A friend of mine here in Iowa ordered and bought a Fathom Green 69 L72 Biscayne brand new. First week he had Ansen Sprints,a shift kit,headers and a 4:56 gear installed. When I was a kid,he thrashed the local Hemi and 440 mopars,and a fast local Yenko Camaro several time street racing out on Beverly blacktop. Violently rolled the car when it was a few months old, in a coma for weeks,and life long issues from a broken back yet today when ejected from the car. Some 40 years later,he gave me the 427 side marker someone took from the car,it's on my Biscayne today. Every once in a while,I'll pick him up,thrash the car once or twice,and go home. He enjoys it more than anyone could imagine.
