Just by pure luck I was looking through the current issue of HEMMINGS and saw a '65 Impala for sale. The green 2-door. This car looked familiar. It was the one "sold" at the Lambrecht Chevy auction in Pierce, NE. Supposedly it sold for about $72K at the auction.

It is for sale again...same price.

It hasn't been touched...so the engine bay is "as is" condition.

Would anybody pay $72K for a new '65 Impala? Is it worth that? Maybe if it was absolutely mint and a 100001 car.
