Here’s my 4 27 story … Came across a seller on ebay when I needed a few bits for my 68 4door … Became very good friends with this guy and he help me immensely in getting parts and cars to Australia from sellers that did not ship OS … I had them sent to Bills place in OK and he would re-pack them carefully, send the here, and never ask for a cent in return … After searching all over the US for many years for a genuine Fathom Blue 4 speed 427 Fast Back, and not knowing at the time how to even get a vehicle here, I could not believe my luck when I came across one that was located only 5 minutes from the only American I knew, my good mate Bill … He and his wife Barbra immediately went and looked at the car, he then trailered it back to his place and kept it there while I organised transport to ship over here … Bill was a Hot Rod guy and a Vet who served his country with pride, he unfortunately died from brain cancer in 2013. He not only helped me with my 427, there was another connection, he was actually born on 4 27 … Thanks for posting 4 27 day Don it brings good memories for me … Cheers Glenn
