Hi All, I'm still here in the background. We went to "The Main Event" last weekend, this is an official FIA motorsport event in the UK (Top Fuel, Pro Mod, Pro Stock etc). Our Impala is in Super Pro which is basically the quickest of the amateur classes; where to be in the class you have to be quicker than 8.99 quarter miles. Anyway out of 45 cars entered the big old 68 impala came 2nd. First time ever we have got beyond two rounds of eliminations. The Impala is a giant, but we killed the class giants!







The big Imp did us proud, 8.05 quarters at 168mph, consistently
