I have a 1968 "IE" coded engine from a Janesville built 1968 SS427 car for sale. This is not a "cobbled-up" bunch of parts. This was a correct, dated engine removed from a very rusty car (which still exists). Block has been cleaned, checked, align bored, cylinders rough bored to 25 (so new owner can have final finish done depending on what pistons they desire). The heads are done with new stainless steel valves and bronze guides, all new springs, retainers and keeper (need final assembly), crank is turned and polished 10/10. Dimple rods are all reconditioned, correct 4 speed carb is all restored (looks like jewelry), new roller cam and lifters, exhaust manifolds are blasted and coated, correct oil pan, timing cover and chrome valve covers with drippers. Distributor is restored, 621 bell and big flywheel. Complete gasket/rebuild kit. There is well over 3K in receipts from the machine shop. Price is 5k for all.
