Advertised as a Berger Chevrolet car. All original except engine. Woh-waa..
Why do people slap emblems where they don't belong? 4 wheel disc brakes? Never heard of that for 1967.

It is hard to tell, but it looks like a non-stock body line has been added to the lower rear quarter panels behind the rear wheels. Are my eyes deceiving me?

That appears to be the claim but we have all seen the white/blue Berger car with D96 stripes and it has no emblems on the hood.

That car might

? have been at MCACN last Nov. There was one that looked like this one but I never walked over to look at it. I think you can understand why after looking at the pictures.

Is the rear bumper mis-adjusted or is it an illusion? Neat car though,,4 Wheel disc option? yeah,,you bet. Wasn't that standard with the optional L72??? Sorry,,I couldn't resist.

That tag has been off. Could have been a TH400 originally being a Flint car with 2M. I've added it to my list.

According to impalas.org/numbers, "2M" was also used to indicate TH400 at the Flint plant.

I saw it at MCACN in November. Who knows where the cowl tag came from since its obviously been off the car.

Heres, a little, of what I know about the car. I was helping the owner of the car and the restoration shop with parts for this car. Owner was told what the car was or the story of what it was suppose to be. I know it was missing a ton of parts. The , then , owner got sick and passed away in the middle of the cars restoration. He willed the car to his friend and told him , when done he thought it was worth 250K .Ron M and I both had phone conversations with him about the value ( without seeing it or pictures ) and told him hed be lucky to get 65-90K . The friend or new owner , not sure exactly whats going on there , been out of touch with this car a little over a year or two. When I finally saw the car at MCACN I was a little surprised . The tach had the redline changed , cowl tag no 4D no rocker moldings etc etc. For what its worth.

I'm not one to post here and nitpick every stinkin little detail that is not "perfect" as some tend to do. I am far from an expert on the fine details that so many of you are. I AM an expert in auto body fit and finish. Just looking at the pics in the ad, fuzzy pics of a white car, and an obviously not correct car, this thing throws up dozens of instant red flags to me, body wise and Impala SS427 wise. Is this guy just caught up in "auction fever"? He may have $75K tied up in the car, but sadly, he gotten ripped off big time!

Yes , I didn't want to add my view on the body Rob but you are correct. Im guessing but pretty sure total investment to get the car to this point, that they are under water money wise in the car.
