I got my '69 Biscayne finally in the body shop for a repaint. Its a code 65,Olympic gold.My painter uses PPG products and the paint supplier mixed up a small amount but it appears to be too gold in color. The sides of the cowl have the original paint on it and the paint supplier brought over a camera. Now the new shade appears to have green hew to it.Has anyone out there with a olympic gold car come up with a good(close) formula?
This is an important part of your restoration. Take your time and get a color/shade you are happy with. Lots of spray cards till you like it. Paint is expensive..... get it right. Best of luck. Mike L.
