1969 IMPALA CUSTOM PARTS NEEDED

The restoration has started on my '69 SS. The body shop started with the quarter panel section replacement and found hidden rust issues on the inner fender wells and lower trunk extensions on both sides of the Impala. All metal work can be fabricated by the shop but if used / rust free panel sections can be located, it would save a lot of time & money.

Any help would be appreciated !

I bought NOS quarter panels and fenders for My 69 SS427 sport coupe. You should have made a driver out of it. I did not do a frame off, but everyone will try to talk You into it. Make sure that the rear panels have the rear wheel buldges, or it is not an Impala for show. Do not buy what We call flat panels. Get a guarantee from the body man that the inner panels will be fabricated to the quarters and not seam sealed. NICK L72

What?? Make a driver out of it ? I have nos rear quarter panels section from a sedan and nos fenders for it as well.. I have the utmost confidence in the body shop... they have been turning out Concourse restorations for almost 40 years.... just having them do the panel repair for me.

It will be beautiful when completed... I'll post pictures during the course of the restoration.

Sorry Steve. You did not mention having Quarters AND Fenders for it. The inner fender wheel wells are no where to be found. Let Me know if You find any. Your Car is a driver in the fact that the Quarters are not one piece and the wheel wells will be fabricated and You are not doing a frame off. I consider My car a driver even though It is getting NOS Quarters and it is a rare 1969 L72 SS427 sport coupe. I look for half panels and repaired wheel wells when I buy a Classic. Maybe get a donor car with good ones. I would Love to see pictures to show My Body Man. NICK L72
