68 Billet hood inserts

I am thinking of having another batch of hood inserts made? If there is interest in them let me know? I believe it is still a minimum order of 10 before they will make them.

I talked to the machine shop today, They can have then done within 3 weeks of my down payment. They are $650.00 each and if you want them to "mirror finish" polish them, that is $50.00. I believe everyone had them polished last time? So, it would be $700.00 for the polished insert.

The only thing I ask is I would like you to pay half up front, If you can pay the whole thing that would be great! because this is a big payment to get them started and a bigger payment afterwards. Let me know. Thanks Don

I checked with the shop today and he told me he hasn't had time yet to get the quote together because they are really busy. but he said he will get it together and get back to me.I will let you know as soon as i know

. I think the last ones were around $750 each ???

I was quoted aprox.. 250 to re chrome my insert and i have two broke studs to deal with, After seeing the pic of the billet version I am on board with one depending on how bad the sting is can we get a hint thanks

Here's a pic of one from Don's last batch. They are extremely nice and have the contours in the horizontal ribs. They mount with small nuts and bolts, no studs to break off. Don S
