New frames

Not trying to hyjack Rob W.'s message but I have a beautiful frame from 68 fastback turbo 400 car. Car was from Arkansas. $600.00 Located in northeast Ohio.

are 67 and 68 frames the same or was there changes?

The rear crossmembers are different. I'm not sure if the front bumper mounting holes are exactly the same. The #4 body mount bracket is a little different also but doesn't effect anything. Convertible frames are different than hardtop/sedan frames.

In regards to stock frames of 67 and 68
1. The rear lower control arm bracket on frame has 1 hole...68 has 2.
2. The bumper brackets might have a different slot arrangement when you put your bolts in and align it.

Just my 2 cents. I parted a 67 Caprice and I have a 68 Impala so I compared.

68 Impala Custom, 396 Th400 12 Bolt 2.56 Posi. DD Grotto Blue, 820 medium Blue cloth interior, fiber optic car.
