where can I locate a dual snorkel 1966 L72 type air cleaner housing? Repops? Any help or clues would be appreciated. Car is an L72 clone with actual ID motor.

BigDogSS, I think your right but pricey! Snarfys link looks great and the price is cheap enough. I will go with that. Now pretty much a driveshaft is all I need for this project.
Vince, you better recheck those prices. The Z28 air cleaner is cheaper --> under $175 w/free shipping. I'm pretty sure the one Snarfy recommends is smaller in diameter and does not include the lid. I have a Corvette air cleaner here at home and I just measured it --> 15¼" in diameter. And the lid is completely incorrect because it has a rib running around edge where the factory big block horsepower sticker goes. The 1966 dual snorkel air cleaner is 16½" in diameter, as is the Z28 air cleaner and it has the correct lid, and is a dead-ringer for the 1966 air cleaner.Denis 1967 Impala SS Sport Coupe 396/TH400/12 bolt. Denis, your right man, thanks. I didn't notice the link and thought you meant GM which is what would be pricey. I appreciate that, I hate buying the wrong crap. I did not know the size I needed. What a great forum!
