Under hood color

Just wondering if anyone could tell me if the underside of my 1969 Biscayne hood should be body color or satin black like the inner wheel wells and firewall?

Ken. The under hood color of any Chevy is black. My 69 Impala was ordered by Me and is still black from the factory. The edges are body color. NICK L72

Satin Black. I,ve never seen body color under the hood. Under the trunk lid is body color though. Don S

Thanks for your reply. My hood is satin black on the underside but wanted to make sure.
