1967 BelAir 2 DR

I was at a car show and some one had a 67 2 DR 427 with L36 engine ,one of 25 built

Was it a Canadian car? That is likely the only way the owner could actually say that it was 1 of 25 built, since GM Canada kept records of the cars produced.

I may have seen pictures of that car if it was dark green (Canada-only J-code Verde Green).

It was on ebay a few weeks ago. Opening bid was $38K but nobody bid.
Nice car but shaving off the body side moldings was a big mistake. (IMO)

I agree with you on the side moldings. They are what differentiate the Bel Air & Biscaynes. I love Biscaynes, but this make it a confusing car.

Those of us who have one of these cars knows how hard it is to come by nice two doors moldings. These moldings are also hard to restore as they are complex.
