Flowmaster choices

I'm gonna be putting a new exhaust system on my car soon and have decided on the 40 series delta flow style. Anybody have these already? And ...if so ,what size inlet/outlet should I go with? My old exhaust has 2-1/2 inch. Considering going to a 2-1/4 inch. Appreciate any advice

I have the 40 series on one of my cars and the 50 series on all the others, all 2 1/2" offset/offset. The 40s are a LOT louder than the 50s, which sound great. Don S

Thanks Don, Do you know/remember if you have the original 40 series? Or the 40 series Delta flow? The delta flow are advertised being the quietest 2 chamber made. The original 40's are somewhat louder,they say

Hi Bob, These were installed in 2003 when I restored the car. I think they are delta flow. Part # 42543. they are NOT quiet by any means. Don S

I installed the same brand and series that you mention . I went with 2 -1/2 inch all the way . Sounds great .
