rebuild starts

Here are just a few pics of our rebuild after a complete tear down of our L72 1968 SS427 custom coupe.

Looks great. Hopefully it will all be done to bring it to the Nat. Imp. Assoc. convention in Dayton, Ohio...3rd week of July 2018. The '68s will be featured.

What are the details of the car? Color, int, etc.

So, the original color was gold? Purple looks nice.

Does the '68 Z24 have Z24 on the cowl tag or 4D?

Are all '68 Z24s gills chrome? Or sometimes body color?

1968 will not have a 4D on the cowl tag only 67's the original color was Cordovan Maroon

Looks very nice! Surprised there is not a clutch fan. Looking forward to future progress reports.

No, just stock brakes and never had a problem braking.

Mine came out with manual drum brakes,hated them. It has power front disc now though, big difference
