1968 SS427

Here are pictures of the just completed 4 year project car. 68 SS427, triple black, A/C, power windows, tilt wheel, buckets, tinted glass, added Vigilite fiber optics and AM/FM radio, all original drive train, 1 owner before me, 60,000 miles. Don S

That's one sweet ride, Don. Lot's of hard work and elbow grease in that job. Well done. I love Black, it's just so stinkin' hard to keep clean.

Awesome! I too have a black '68 Z24, but mine is a Sport Coupe. The '68's are my favorite.

Thanks Glenn and the rest of the guys. I do the tear-down, remove the body from the frame, restore the chassis, cut out the floor and bad panels, then do the reassembly in my garage. The major bodywork and paint is done by professionals. Don S

Thanks everyone. I found the build sheet rolled up and tucked in a corner of the driver's bucket seat. Also had 2 original "XI" code 15" steel wheels, just in case I wanted to put the full wheel covers back on, but I like the ralleys better. Don S
