Had to buy this the other day. The story is that it was raced in CA but not sure by who, obviously it had a small failure as seen. Local guy in MN was selling on Craigslist for trade or cash. I picked it up for a very fair deal.

It's actually a can am ZL1 block 326711 I'm going to dress it up as it would have looked and leave it in the corner of the garage. It will be a nice winter project.

I dunno, cylinder deactivation might work , or build a Sesco style inline four out of it.
Besides the COPO Camaros, didn't the Chaparrals or McLarens use those engines? Maybe I'm thinking of the special 494 that Chevy built for competition.
