Impalas in Oklahoma

Hey guys, I stopped by a friend of mines car lot yesterday and he has a couple of really nice Impalas onsite. They are all 4 speed cars. Specifically the black 409 car is super cool with pictures of the complete frame off resto.
I knew the gentleman that owned this car. He bought it at a Leake Auction back in 2011. All paperwork was documented, including a window sticker. Now Fred is a retail priced guy, but he told me yesterday that he'd make a great deal to someone that might be interested in more than just one. That black car has repro window sticker and restamped engine pad. I told Fred that when I first entered the car and had asked him for pics. He didn't know.

What a bummer. So it seems the car got past the auction company as well? People go to great lengths to fake cars these days. It's crazy. Well, even though there are still bad guys out there, I know Fred is one of the good guys. Thanks for the update Warren. Gregg
