1 of 35 '67 Z24 convertibles?

In a recent issue of the Impala News, there is a photo of, I believe, Bruce Everly's red '67 Z24 Convertible. There is a sign in front of it stating 1 0f 35 made. How could anybody know how many of the convertibles or coupes were made? Any proof to that statement? Yes, 2,124 total Z24s.

No, there are no ECL codes on the build sheet. Just the window sticker and car shipper. There are plants that do not use ECL codes.

Is this a Canadian built car? I think GM Canada has this kind of detailed info.

First of all statement is wrong. There are 5 different ECl codes totaling the 2124. No 1,2,3 of them total 35. There may be a separate ECL code for Convertibles but don't have any Z24 paperwork on a convertible to tell. Do you have any documents on a legit Z24 convertible?

What is an ECL code? I have the final total build report for 1967 model year that Warren sent me. No mention of the breakdown of coupe and convertibles for the Z24 option. If you have additional information, I am encouraged to know what that is.

Exception Control Letters, at times they can differentiate models if that is the "trigger". Very complicated subject and the codes in this case do not describe what they represent.
Total you were given is correct.
