Orphan 1968 427 block

There's a orphan '68 385HP IJ 427 block for sale on the Portland, OR craigslist.
321 casting, J 19 7 date, T1031IJ, 18L122101

I was hoping it might be the missing block for my car but no cigar. Maybe somebody is looking for this one. Nice price too!

Question...would a z24 block in a TH400 car have been a IS suffix code and IJ be the non z24 427 cars with TH400?

It would be IS or IJ. Both suffix codes are for a 427/390 horse (not 385)with T400.

The 1968 corvette used this same (321)block casting number(not suffix) and was rated at 390hp with a low profile q-jet intake manifold. In the full size cars the IS/IJ was rated at 385 hp. My Z-24 is an IS coded suffix.
