Orphan 1968 427 block
Posted by Steve N on 11/16/2017, 7:01 pm https://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/pts/d/hp/6344704908.html There's a orphan '68 385HP IJ 427 block for sale on the Portland, OR craigslist. 321 casting, J 19 7 date, T1031IJ, 18L122101 I was hoping it might be the missing block for my car but no cigar. Maybe somebody is looking for this one. Nice price too! Question...would a z24 block in a TH400 car have been a IS suffix code and IJ be the non z24 427 cars with TH400? Steve

In the full size cars the IS/IJ was rated at 385 hp. My Z-24 is an IS coded suffix.
