Quadrajet carb choke

Does anybody have to either sell or give up a mechanical choke assembly for my Q-jet? I have the original carb for my Z24 car but it is missing the mechanical choke assbly! HELP My cell is 540.529.6317 Thx for any help.

Classic Industries offers a kit with the spring, rod, and little house that it all sits in. There are two, one is for two barrel and the other is for four barrel.

I put one on my 402 GMC and it's been perfect.

I didn't know GM made a manual choke Q-Jet. It would have to be on a 73 or 74 Z,,correct? I've owned two 74 Z's with the L82 engines,both were 4 speeds,but both had automatic chokes. Curios what combo may have had this set up.

Maybe i stated the wrong info. I am missing the the choke assembly that attaches to the carb. It was never a manual choke. Thanks for hte reply.

What year Z28? I think I do have a 77 Z-28 4 speed carb around yet.

Hey Tim,

How are you? Hope all is well!

I caught up with Bruce over the weekend on this. In this case, year matters. He has a 67 SS427 and is looking for the original attaching plate and linkage that operates the automatic choke on his Q-Jet.
