I've been searching for kick panels for my '69 and one person was advertising a pair that looked like this, which I guess are for an AC car, but our AC cars in Canada didn't use these, as far as I know.
Does anyone know anything about these kick panels any why the air intake is so huge? Why they're different from the normal ones?
The panel was designed so the recirculating air that was drawn from the cabin did not draw dirt from the floor. It also restricted the amount of air that flowed into the A/C. The standard kick panel had the Astro Ventilation cables for the flapper and the dash vent. NICK L72427impalasportcoupe
