Off topic/ Michigan Locals

Hey Guys,

Completely off topic but thought I'd ask here anyways. Work is taking me out to Michigan, Traverse City to be exact next week, then Petoskey then finally ending in Detroit. It's going to be a roadtrip which I don't mind. With that said, any suggestions on car related things to try and see? I'll be working most of the days, but I could squeeze out some time though. So far I'm planning on heading out to Pierce Stocking National Park for one afternoon and check out Motown in Detroit + maybe the Henry Ford Museum. Any other suggestions? Local places to eat?
Anything?

I went to the Gilmore Museum too....northeast of Kalamazoo. AWESOME DISPLAYS.

If you can, stop at the Oldsmobile Museum in Lansing. It is cool. It is in the heart of downtown square...kind of obscure down an alley on the south end of the square. But, worth going.

Art,
I go to Woodward Dream Cruise almost every year which is North of Detroit.( on Woodward Ave)
A couple places you might try to eat that are on Woodward are:
Duggans Irish Pub located in Royal Oak or the National Coney Island for good chili dogs & milk shakes.
I live 2 1/2 hours south of Detroit, you are welcome to come see my cars and Ill take you out to a free lunch/dinner.
I have 18 cars, 16 are show ready,with
two are under construction.
All GM,5 chevelles, 64 through 68, two Impala's,(Z-24,L78)two gto's,(both tri-power,4spds) four Corvettes,one Nova (L-79),one Catalina (super duty clone), two Camaro's,55 Chev chopped top and one 56 truck.

Hey Ron, Arden-

Thank you for the suggestions. I'll try to stop by the Michigan museums and maybe later in the year check out Ron's in Ohio! That sounds like an awesome collection Ron; thank you for the invite; I truly appreciate it.
