I have a '69 Impala with a Muncie with Hurst shifter. What are you guys using for the reverse lever so you can use the backdrive rod? Thanks, Tom

7075 is the Hurst # for the reverse arm

OK, I see part of my problem now. My car doesn't have the original tranny. My linkage doesn't look like that, it's a 1965 Muncie 1325 case with the speedo drive on the left side. The reverse lever isn't flat, it's L shaped. I'm assuming the shifter, which is a Competition Plus, is for a Chevelle.

Tom. The 69 Hurst has a reverse lever with a second hole to accept the rod. The Muncie has the same lever. Try Hurst .com to get information on which lever to use. NICK L72427impalasportcoupe
