OK,I'll try to explain my issue. Engine seems to be running hot 210-220 deg when idleing (sp) after about 20 mins. The back edge of fan blade is completely even with rear outer edge of the shroud. There is a small spacer added between the fan blade and the pulley. I would think it would be easy to just remove the spacer and try it. I have looked at other cars and it appears there is usually about 1/4 to 1/3 of the fan blade sticking out past the rear of the fan shroud. Wondering If I am not moving enough air across the radiator. When revving or driving the temp is fine. Thanks in advance for any input
I have the same car and was having the same problem. I had the radiator flowed tested by a local radiator shop and it was flowing poorly. I had it recored and it is fine. As for the fan and shroud, mine is in the same position. Hope this helps.
