G-G Ivory Gold

I'm looking at A 68 Impala with a trim tag code for the exterior "G-G" which going by what I can find out is Ivory Gold, however I can not find that color on any 68 color charts, is Ivory Gold a 68 Color? ... Glenn

Hi Glenn. G-G is ASH GOLD, the exterior color. Ivy Gold is an interior color, which would be the Trim code on the cowl tag. Don S

Hey Don, as yourself and TRQ stated Ivory (or Ivy) gold was/is an interior color and I have seen that before, but the Trim Tag for this car shows the following ... "TR 806" which comes back as black interior and "G-G Paint" which comes back as Ivory Gold Exterior color ... Now I'm only getting this info from Colvins on page 33, so is he wrong in calling it Ivory Gold instead of Ash Gold or am I missing something ... Glenn

Oooooops, looks like the proverbial typo for the Clovins book. And my error as far as Ivy instead of Ivory. I was thinking my paint was "Palomino Ivory" but I cant remember if that's what it was called.

Yep. I see that in the book but the correct color name is Ash Gold.

Glenn, I had a 68 Biscayne,and the Ivory Gold was the interior color as I recall. It was sort of a gold / green color.
