What part (group.#) or section is speedo cables iin when looking up part numbers for speedo cables. For my future reference: I have 67 Muncie with factory cruise control., I know unusual, but it was available per instructions in the box, there is s “kit” available for cut off switch on clutch pedal, from a small tag with par number stapled to instructions. ( don’t have with me)
I added a NOS 1967 cruise, unit a few years back, but the Muncie I put in, the cable came out the drivers rear, I know wrong side, and being green at the 4 speed thing when switching from auto to 4speed, it’s also a 65 complete M40 unit ( or as I was told) so I will instead of switching just the tail housing, eventually the complete unit ( I assume M20 67 up)
So question is, clips that hold cable to cowl with a car with 4 speed any different than with or without cruise? If so how many?
Cable to passengers side rear to cruise servo, anyone know the length, or if I locate the part #, how to x ref it for length, something tells me they are not readily available...
I know there is supposed to be a welded bracket on 4 speed cars llike the automatics have except on pass side, would anyone know exact location by measurements? Or semi close.
Any details to share, please share

Bill & Bill,
Many years ago I bought a used factory cruise ass'y for my '68 Z24 with a Muncie M20. From my repair manual, I was able to position the regulator (the SERVO is the vacuum unit on the firewall, just behind the carburetor) on the wheel well in the correct location. I measured what I needed for the two speedo cables...from the transmission to the regulator, and from the regulator to the speedometer. I was able to purchase the trans cable locally; the 'custom' length to the speedo I obtained on the internet.
The "rubberized" clamp/bracket for the trans cable is attached to a heater blower bolt on the firewall - about 3" below the lower heater hose...at least on my car.
Hope this helps. I'm able to "live" without a cutoff for the clutch.
