1968 Impala SS 427 Convertible

Hello All:
I purchased this car in February and have finally got it torn down. I need a ton of parts and I am looking for any and all resources for parts. Any help would be appreciated. Just for starters, I am trying to locate a decent front cowl, floor pans and a trunk pan as the originals are rusted beyond repair.

I wonder if the one you bought was black and near Boston. I was going to look at it but the snowstorms last year stopped me. I have some 68 impala parts, Own a 6 ss427 myself for 30 years.

I’ve got a 1968 convertible parts car. Frame is excellent, floors and trunk pan and quarter panels are partly rusty though. Not too bad. Convertible top mechanisms are excellent. As is the whole chassis. Buckets and console as well. I am near Vancouver BC Canada.

Cool and firewall are perfect. Frame excellent. But it’s a Canadian Pontiac Parisienne so the body from the cowl back is different than Impala. But everything else is Impala. Frame. Chassis powertrain, convertible top assembly etc.

I am in Norwood which is completed surrounded by Cincinnati. Pretty much right in the middle of Cincy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Tom....Did you happen to buy that car from a guy named Terry West? He lives here in Cincy...has owned a Red 68/427 convertible car for years that needs lots of work...just wondering

I did. Terry and I have been friends for 35-40 years. I also live in Norwood. I already have the car apart and the motor torn down. You are right that the car needs a total restoration!
