69 Firewall Clutch Rod boot

Looking for the member of this site that was reproducing the 69 Firewall Clutch Rod boot . Was it Lynn ? ( it was many years ago when I had them made .)

Hello sir ! Glad you saw my message as i was not sure you were watching this message board since the original SS427 site went down . Yes , I'm in the market for another boot , but will have to pull the original off of my project and get it to you to get rebuilt . I also know of another builder who may be looking for one as well . I'll PM you in the next day or two . Thanks !

I believe that indeed, it was Lynn. I have a few that were made back then. A very fine reproduction. However, they lacked the metal re-enforcement ring that was molded into the original boots and supported mounting the boot to the firewall.

If I can get the retainers from old boots, they can be molded into the new castings. Send them to me and I’ll do ‘me up for ya.
