Look at the tires on that Impala Custom. That is only the 3rd set I have seen of those. They have white rectangles all along the sidewall and also red lines as well. A neighbor had them on his new 1971 AMC Ambassador, then I saw a 1965 Riviera rolling on a set back in the 90's. No idea who made them.

Cam, you are right, it has been many years since those tire where around. Perhaps this picture will inspire tire companies to bring back whitewalls?????? The ones I want were T/As ADVANTAGE. Just like the white letter T/As only they had a whitewall. Great tires and would be great on the type of cars I am interested in. Sadly they do not seem to be around. Morley
