L72 and high performance engines do not have A/C because of the wear on the front main bearing. They have a 2 groove crank pulley without the big pulley on front. Vacuum also is a problem with the power brakes. Dual diaphram boosters help, or a vacuum pump. Certain cams also have better vacuum. NICK L72 427impalasportcoupe

I had to send the 2 groove pulley back to the Ford dealership that said it came off a 427 engine. It had a small center hole from a small block. I bought a deep groove from Summit sold by Goodmark. They stated it was a high performance. I shall see when I get it. The car is primed and being sanded for paint. Open air elements do not need the decal. Year one used to sell them. I had bought one.
