Don, I had a wonderful mate in Okmulgee OK who passed away six years ago ... Bill was a proud US Veteran, a mad car guy, and just a genuinely nice bloke who helped over the years in getting parts shipped here for my 327 ... When I found my 427 car for sale, amazingingly enough out of the whole continental USA it was located only 5 minutes from Bill who was at the time the only guy I knew in the US ... Bill immediately trailered it home and cared for the car while we organised to get it shipped ... Bill liked 427 for two reasons, one, he loved big block Chevys, and two, 4-27 was his birthday ... So for me 4-27 is a celebration of a great car and an even greater friend ... Cheers Glenn

Glenn,
Great story. I remember you telling me a little about him when we were talking about a radiator shipment to Down Under. My '68 Z24 and I wish you the best for a continued happy and healthy future.

Hey Bill, great to hear from you ... Like Nick said it is quiet on here these days so you don't get to hear from everyone all that often, but I'm pretty sure most of the long time members still take a look-in pretty regularly, and it's good to see you're one of the ones still keeping an eye on the joint ... Take Care ... Glenn ps it looks like you're an early morning person too, join the club ...
