Man that came a long way. Awesome job and matching, original color. It looks good with the 70's wheels.Put a good tire black on them. NICK L72

Those are just an old junk set on it now. There is a new set of tires with the old craiger mags.

The roof looks like it is finished to the same standard as the rest of the car but I see all the vinyl top trim holes are still there?

Jeff. Hood looks Red; just kidding. Looks great!! I am having My fenders painted off of the car, so I can install the moldings and the emblems. A lot of work putting it back together. I think a couple of months for mine. Looking forward to it though. I want to see it when it is done. NICK L72

That pic does look more red than it is. The fenders were off when they did all the finish sanding and primer were applied. I am guessing the fenders were also painted off the body then installed.

Thanks, really hard to get a good picture inside of the building. It should make for a very busy next few weeks trying to put it all back together. If we remember. It might make for a lot of questions to the message board.

Jeff, putting the car back together after the painting is the fun part. I finished everything on my last project over the wintertime 2 years ago, Had a ball doing it even though there was blood and swearing at times. Your car is looking great especially since it's a seldom seen color. Can't wait to see it finished, It's a great satisfaction installing every nut and bolt. I cant figure out how the assembly line workers put these together while it was on a moving conveyor belt so fast when it took me 2 hours just to get one window to line up. Don S

Jeff - I can really relate! Mine is a '68 Z24 Fastback. Looks great! Have fun with "reassembly".

Don - An engineer that I once worked with said that he worked at a Chrysler assembly plant previously. He stated that two guys would follow down the moving line "leading in" each sail panel area to the rear fenders, making the car ready for initial painting of that area. He said that it was amazing how finished the work was!
