Wish I would have heard about it. I live 1.5 North and it would have been worth the drive. Would have brought my 69 convertible. I need to watch this site more often. I was at the Madison Classic car show yesterday and there were 2 other 69 Impala's. Normally I never see that many

I would have been there if My Car was finished. My car was assembled in December 1968. It is already 50 years old. 1969 model year started in September 1968. The National Impala association should invite all owners and members to the show. Warren should have all the information. NICK L72

Warren and his mom and dad were there . We had a good time . They had their 68 there .

I was there . A friend of mine from Carbondale IL and I were the only ones there from Southern IL. This is the 50th year for the 69s . There were only 5 cars from 69 that showed up . Small show for the NIA in my opinion . The show was joined by the Camaro club of Northern IL . That helped with the size of the show . I was hoping for more cars . My question is this . Why are there so few 69s at the NIA conventions ? There may have been maybe 5 cars for the 69 group in Dayton Ohio last year . Same thing 3 years ago in Springfield IL . Once again . Where are all the 69s .

Lets face it,,were becoming extinct,,just like the dinosaurs before us.It's all about hot rod cell phones and rat motored gigabytes now a days.
