I'm still around. Don't check in here as much as I should. My Facebook group and website keeps me pretty busy.

If you haven't checked the website lately, I have an article up on COPO and Fleet & Special Order vehicles among other stuff. My goal is to have another article up by the end of my holiday break. I'll take a look through the threads of the last month and see if I can add anything

It has been quiet. Not many posting. How do You and Steve handle all the visitors to Your site? I hope to get My 69 done for Spearfish. What are the production numbers on the 69 L72 SS427 sport coupe with 4 speed? NICK L72

It works fairly well. I like the layout.

I don't have the more detailed 69 production figures yet. Wish I had them. Can't wait to dig into that data.

Nick,I still remember when you joined this site,long ago. Spring forward to today,and your long awaited journey to restore your VERY RARE,original one owner L72 Impala is finally home. I cant imagine how exciting it must be for you to see your car from the day it came off the transport in 69,to the day it comes home again,painted and well on the way of being your "Brand new baby" again. I'm amazed at how excited I am for you. This is really cool,and we are ALL seeing it unfold. Yours is a story book situation for sure. I'm very happy its coming together, From one ex GM Master technician (73 thru 77) to another,,good luck.

Yes Donny that's why I posted it as that is what people were asking, but I know of two other sites that a lot of the same names and faces from here show-up regularly and I'll dig that info out of an old hard drive when I get a chance if nobody else can help. I don't bother with facebook but I don't mind letting others know, it's all about sharing ... Cheers Glenn

I guess change is inevitable,so I'll refer to the old Merle Haggard song,,, "Are we rollin down hill like a snowball headed for hell" Many of us have been on this site for 20 plus years,,I hate to see it fading away,but it seems to be doing just that. So many great people,ideas,help,and knowledgeable people that have helped all of us over the years.

Hi Gene,
Just too much going on this year. My wife's mother (90) was having health troubles and I needed a break, it would have been 7 yrs in a row.
