The car is painted and trim installed. Working on headliner and interior. Purchased speakers from Ebay, 10 ohm and repairing wires and dash. Testing the multiplex stereo power, will not play 4 ohm speakers. I wrapped the car to prevent scratches. Engine is ready to install. Chevrolet only garage and engine and carbs in front. Easter snow flurries and warm. White spots are flurries. Stay Healthy and safe. Stay 6 feet from other Impalas. NICK L72

Thank You Ken. I bought the headliner from E-bay from Classicautotrimnv. It is the right material and fit. The cotton strips are like original and space across the bows. Headliners are not easy to install and need to be trimmed on ends. They cost $109.99, with needed installation by an expert. My Son and I spent a lot of time doing it. Another one on E-bay is $259.99. You be the judge. NICK L72

Correct Nick. Can't use 4 ohm speakers with a Delco unit, need 8-10 ohm speakers for it to play properly. I can service the units if necessary

I have about $85,000.00 in paint and body work. An article in Hot Rod quotes $67,000.00 for a frame off 66 Chevelle. I estimate that I will have about $110,000.00 in My rare L72 4 speed Super Sport ordered in 1969 with documentation. NICK L72

Glad to see your getting it completed Nick. Like I mentioned before,,possibly the only 69 L72 car still owned by the person who bought it new.

Great focus and fortitude! You will never find another original owner like yourself! If that is so, truly one of one! Wanted one in late 68 but Army had other ideas, off to Vietnam and finally got close to what I wanted some 40 years later!
