Light show

I finally installed gas tank and rear bumper. I can't afford to get right side rechromed now. Next is stainless exhaust. I can't decide if 2 1/2 0r 3 inch. NICK L72

Where did you get your gas tank from ? Does it look close to the original? Reason I ask is I need to get one for my '69 Biscayne

Ken. I found the company "Dynacorn" from Texas on E-bay. $229.95 free shipping. It is plated and comes with the hose so You can use Your original filler tube. Excellent shipping in a padded box. Go on E-bay and hit the lowest price and shipping text. NICK L72

Ken. I bought it on E-bay a while ago. It is exact to the original except it has a metal goose neck instead of the rubber which was loose on My tank. It was cheaper in price but not quality. I'll go on line and see if I can find it. NICK L72

Ken. No I did not. I shop E-bay for price and quality and availability. My bumpers are excellent take offs. Also got the neoprine tank insulators, which make it harder to start the nuts, but doable. I purchased most of the trim and interior from Hubbards Impala. They are hard to deal with though, They do not admit mistakes. NICK L72

I bought a heater core from Hubbards,came in completely wrong than I had to chase them for my reimbursement. They had a hard time understanding why they should return the shipping charges

Getting closer Nick,, when do you anticipate the maiden voyage? I'm sure your getting anxious for the first ride. Curious, when was the last time you drove it?

It has been about 3 years. I put My truck 350 in it and drove it around after the 327 wore out. It wasn't legal because I didn't get it inspected. Finally found a body shop that knew how to, and I trusted to do the body and paint. JD's auto repair in Huntingdon Valley, Pa, East of Philadelphia. They had it for 2 years, installing and painting the NOS quarters and fenders and repairing the rust and frame. I had it for 10 months now, putting it back together. Slow process, better than new.
