frame exchange

seems I have read that 67,68, 69 frames all are different but can be interchanged . I have a 66 that needs a new frame, can I use a 67 or totally different animal?

Would you sell me the Transmission crossmember brackets that weld onto the bad frame?

The 66 and 67 frames are different where the idler arms mount for the front suspension, I believe the rear frame crossmember where the rear suspension arms mount is different also You may be able to use a 67 frame with the upper rear control arms for a 67, which are a different length than 66 and the front suspension from a 67 which has a different idler arm and centerlink than 66

Thanx Tim, I have now located a 65 frame that i am told is the same as 66
