there's only been one fan injured in the last 53 years, but restrictor plate racing is lousy racing and every race at Daytona and Talladega you always have at least one, and some times 2 or 3 big accidents, the big one, that takes out half the field, and it's just horrible racing. Who's to say taking down the banking and taking the restrictor plates off the cars wouldn't make for better racing?
