Nascar used the YouTube policy on "Copyright Infringement" to block the video. The rightful owner and poster of the video appealed to YouTube who put it back up very quickly based on the appeal. Had that not happened, I promise you Nascar would not have called and asked YouTube to put it back up once they found out there were no fatalities. It made them look bad so they asked for it to be taken down. Period. If Nascar cared so much about the fans in the stands would they still have plate racing at 200 mph with cars that get airborn and questionable catch fences at their familiy owned ISC tracks? I've been to many tracks and always felt like Daytona had some of the most questionable fences for the speed and size of vehicles on track. Even the new ones aren't great. Proven on Saturday when half a car went through it. They dodged a bullet. Again.
