Any way, we started hearing rumors the Feds were putting together a case on Kwame, and everybody said "what's the difference? He'll get off, or something like that". People even started calling Kwame the "Teflon Mayor".
The Feds end up indicting him on dozens of charges similiar to what they would indict a crime boss like John Goddi with. Like the "RICO Act", and "running an on going criminal enterprise". The trial lated months and the jury deliberated for weeks, but this morning Kwame was found guilty on like 24 Federal charges. He was immediately taken into custody, and they're saying like a lot of crime bosses he'll die in Federal Prison.
Years ago I got a side job through a friend of a friend, and I was installing a new central air comdensing unit in a FBI Agents house. I don't know how the subject came up, but we started talking about the Feds putting celebrities, politicains, pro athletes, and rich people in prison. The FBI Agent told me the Feds love doing this, and where most cities, counties, and states don't have the resources to go after high profile (rich) people the Feds do. After the conversation I started thinking about it, and with the exception of Mike Tyson every high profile person I could think of who went to prison was put there by the Feds, Martha Stewart, Webster Hubbel, Pete Rose, Denny McClain (Detroit Tigers), Bob Probert (Detroit Red Wings, Mike Miller (NFL pro football player), Michael Vick, Leona Helmsey, Marion Berry, Rod Blagojevich, Wesley Snipes, and just about every politician ever to go to prison, and I could go on and on, but I think you get the idea, and now we can add Kwame to the list.
