winning really is the exception to the rules in racing. first thing is money. second thing is money. third thing is money. you cant race without money. period

oh...btw. in the marketplace in most things. who you know and other things like what you look like are generally more important in success than you actual skill level.

but yea....as a base obvervation winning isnt everything from matt kenseth on down. that doesnt mean that the junior comment wasnt a standard dave slam. its part of dave's base schtick. the largest part of the nascar fan base cares what junior does and if he aint doing much they aint payin attention much.
