John is spotting for AA this weekend. And is seeking a ride for the 500.

John Andretti and Felipe Giaffone are other former IndyCar drivers patrolling the paddock this weekend. Andretti is spotting for Andretti Autosport in the time when he’s not trying to land a ride for the 500.

“I want a ride at Indy bad,” he said. “I got (left out) last year, and I hated it.”

Andretti has competed in 12 500s, finishing a career-best fifth in 1991. His first Indianapolis Motor Speedway race was in 1988.
