has always been very vocal that they don't do "team orders", and even the last few years when their driver, Sebastian Vettel, has won the F1 championship 3 years in a row his Red Bull teammate, Mark webber, has been very vocal that Sebastian shouldn't expect any help from him because as far as he's concerned it's every man for themselves out there, and he has his own race to win, and I think this is why after the Red Bull team boss told Sebastian not to pass Mark Webber, Sebastian went out of his way to pass Webber even involving contact between the two team Red Bull cars. This was Sebastian's way of saying Mark's not a good teammate, why should I be a good teammate. As far as Mercedes goes Lewis Hamilton didn't leave McClaren/Mercedes to go to underdog team Mercedes (two different teams) to be the #2 driver, so Nico Rosberg shouldn't of been surprised when team boss Ross Brawn at Mercedes told him not to pass Hamilton. That was a given.
