NASCAR got rid of real stock cars, they got rid of real personalities, they got rid of trading paint. Instead they now have corporate vanilla drivers, fines and suspensions for aggressive driving that gets the car to the front. Remember "Swervin' Irvin" and all that gang? Dale, Sr never would win the races today that he did during the hay-days of NASCAR. His driving is no longer allowed. How stupid is "Making the Chase"? The races are quite simply put: BORING.
Final thought, the NFL is heading in the same direction. It may take fifteen or twenty years, but way down the road they'll be playing Flag Football.
