Misc observation - Andy Granatelli

Misc factoid here. Was doing some general internet surfing, and I saw that Andy Granatelli was still alive. Was not sure of this. Only mention this since to me, his autobiography "They call me Mr. 500" is a great read for a historical perspective on indy type racing. Maybe a tab long in the tooth for some of todays folk - written in the early 70's. But still, a great take on Indy racing before it was take over by corporations, etc. I always loved the openness of Indy in the USAC and eary CART days. "Run what you brung" rules, as opposed to a spec series. And Andy was great in that regard. OK - back to your regularly schedules programing. PS - Man - I cannot get interested in NA$CAR anymore. I used too try - but it't tough not. Would like to see a Jenkins car win a race. But not holding my breath...
