I think the only thing more shocking was Buckshot Jones leading 19 laps at Dega and having the car to beat until his downed tire ripped it apart the year after Petty dumped him. I have that race on tape...still can't believe it when I watch it. That's the same race Elliott Sadler when flipping and flying all over the place.

A really nice win for a good bunch of guys.
