Several different packages available..............
Friday is always the free day at the Detroit Grand Prix, and I started to head down this year, but the forecast was off and on thunderstorms all day, and that's exactly what happened, but as far as buying tickets to be able to sit in certain grandstands, or even the top rows of certain grandstands you have to buy a 3 day package for all three days of the grand prix to get to sit in those grandstands. They even have other grandstands where you have to buy at least a two day package to be able to sit in that area, but they also sell tickets for indivual days, and walk up tickets both days. At the Detroit Grand Prix they have it set up where you can't even get to certain grandstands if you don't have the right color wrist band on. Some of the grandstands have food trucks parked by them, and the grandstand I usually sit in always has a Mexican food truck with the best Nachos. How often do you order Nachos where you run out of chips, and still have a plate full hamburger, cheese, jalapenos, onions, tomatoes, etc. left over, and you find yourself shovel what's left into your mouth with your fingers not caring what people sitting around you think. I feel sorry for people at the Detroit Grand Prix that can't get to those grandstands to get to that Mexican food truck. I hope that answered your question. As far as the Cup race I switched over to FOX with 6 laps left, and it finally looked like Montoya was going to get his oval win, but not to be. As far as the Detroit Grand Prix they should of quit while they were ahead after yesterday's race. Today's race is turning out to be a disaster. Can't help but to feel sorry for A.J. Allmendinger. I think he was trying to hard to impress Roger in his last INDY car start scheduled for the year with Penske Racing.
