its like Jack Nicklaus said about him playing on the Senior Tour....its not the same. He's beaten all those guys most of his career...why now play in a 2nd rate league. If he cant be out there with the big dogs then its time to call it quits for good. I hated that stance he took as while I loved playing the game I never liked watching it much...except for the Senior Tour.

Maybe John figures the time required...danger...vs the benefits of winning one of those races wasn't worth the time away from the family. Which was a lot all these years.
