You would be surprised...
She actually is very open to anything that will improve her driving. Like txpd mentioned below she was moved up too fast because of sponsor pressure. Her sponsor wanted to be in Cup. JR motorsports and Stewart both knew she was being pushed too fast for marketing reasons, but they said nothing. This is where a good manager comes in. As a manager you have to strike a balance between taking the quick money from a sponsor or taking less up front to increase your drivers longevity. She needed a manager who had the balls to tell her that her sponsor was moving too quick and basically you don't have the talent at this point to make this deal last past a couple of years. Basically you have to tell her what she doesn't want to hear. Unfortunately Danica doesn't have that kind of support network. She has a bunch of yes ma'am hanger on type folks managing her and they just want to get a pay check, but they could care less about her career. Jr Motorsports as well as Stewart can also be thrown into the group but you can't blame them because they are businesses and if you are dumb enough to give them a check they will be smart enough to cash it. I will say that Tony has not made near as much off of this deal as he thought he would mainly because of her performance. Her team has been a huge detractor to the rest of the organization from the standpoint of personnel moves and acquisitions. She has run so bad that they have been moving folks around on a weekly basis and that leads to disgruntled crew members. They feel like they are doing all they can, but still getting thrown under the bus in team meetings. As the boss you can only blame the crew for so long before they leave for another team. The same thing happened over at JR motorsports when Tony Eury defended the crew and criticized Danica's ability he was unceremoniously dismissed. All I'm saying is get your Kenzie Ruston gear now and avoid the rush you will look like a genius. Take Care.
